Welcome to BikeTourCuba.com. This site has been put together to document an 800 mile self-guided bicycle tour of Cuba by three Americans in December 2014. Additionally. we hope to offer insight into the planning and preparation for a similar unsupported bike tour in Cuba. We by no means have all the answers but, we have done it, and wish to share our experience with anyone interested. Ours was an unforgettable trip through a fascinating and beautiful place at a historic moment in time. It is our hope that we can help give you a window into some of the real Cuba that we saw, as well as offer some firsthand information on traveling/biking in this unique Caribbean island destination.
